Dr. Sunil Pisharody

Dr. Sunil Pisharody is a well known Interventional Cardiologist from Kerala in South India.

He completed his MBBS in 1998 from Government Medical College in Thrissur post which he pursued MD (General Medicine) in 2001 from BJMC Ahmedabad where he won gold medal for 'Best Outgoing Student'. Dr. Pisharody also holds DM (Cardiology) from Government Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram.

Dr. Pisharody has worked with some of the major Hospital in and around Kerala. He worked with Lakshmi Hospital in Cochin as Cardiologist for one year. He then joined the Cardiology Department of Thangam Hospital as Consultant. He was appointed as Critical Care Specialist in KIMS Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram and has more than three years of experience as Physician in Marthimothias Charitiable Hospitals (CMC VELLORE affiliated clinic).

His areas of expertise include Radial intervention procedures and Peripheral artery interventions. He specializes in Adult Cardiology, Diagnosis, Prevention and Medical Management. Dr. Pisharody has performed various surgical procedures including Angioplasty, Echocardiography, and In-patient & Out-patient hospital care of cardiac patients. He is actively involved in research and development of methods for treating heart diseases.

Dr. Pisharody has written various papers on rare cardiac diseases and is also involved in conducting epidemiological studies (projects of National Rural Health Mission) and its various branches.

He is currently associated with the famous EMS Memorial Co-Operative Hospital & Research Centre in Kerala, where he works as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist.
